Jonny Farrow
Jonny Farrow is an American artist based in the UAE working with sound as a poetics and a material in the fields of sculpture, transmission arts, and printmaking. His work investigates cultural, architectural, and imaginary spaces through narrative interventions created with objects, sounds, images, and text in order to reframe established cultural narratives with the aim of sparking meaningful, culturally critical dialogue. He holds an MFA in Studio Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, teaches and writes about sound art, and has presented his work at many galleries, museums, universities, cultural institutions and festivals.
